Last night I got a friend who suggested the hymn “Does Jesus Care” so I decided to blog about it today.

Actually today is quite alright.. God just comforted, though the trials still look difficult and impossible to clear. I still am trying to wait on the Lord.. and see what will come out of it.

The lyrics of this hymn is written by Frank E Graeff. Who wrote it during his period of difficult trials. He found is comfort from the words of God. Therefore he put a resounding “O Yes, He cares” in the chorus

1 Pet 5:7 ” Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

Personally, I know that Jesus cares, but sometimes I guess in the midst of trouble, it is very hard to assure ourselves.

Title: Does Jesus Care
Lyrics: Frank E Graeff
Music: J.Lincoln Hall

Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press, and the cares distress
And the way grows weary and long?

Refrain

Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?

Refrain

Does Jesus care when I’ve tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief there is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?

Refrain

Does Jesus care when I’ve said “goodbye”
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?

(Refrain)
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
